No change to the Ferro titanium market in China ( 03 June 2008 )

Since there is no demands improvement compared with early days in the market, almostly cooperating with old partners, the ferro-titanium prices keep same. According to our inquiries, the price of the low titanium grade one (Ti30) is between RMB 12900 to 13500 per ton in Jinzhou area, RMB13600 to 13800 per ton in Jiangs. The medium titanium grade (Ti40) is RMB19500 to 20000 per ton in Jinzhou, about RMB22000 per ton in Jiangsu, RMB 22500 to 23000 per ton in Guizhou. And the high titanium grade ferro titanium, in titanium crape forms, is RMB 45000 to 48000 per ton in Jinzhou and RMB 45000 to 55000 per ton in Jiangsu area.

The price of the titanium sponge has been increased because of the rise of Mg material. The titanium sponge in Gr.0 is about RMB99000 to 100000 per ton now, and some companies offer the higher price to RMB100300 per ton. The Gr.1 titanium sponge is RMB 97000 to 98000 per ton, and this price is likely to increase to RMB 100000 per ton. The market is active and there is no large quantity in stock. The titanium sponge price is increasing now both at home and aborad, but the terminal demands of the ferro titanium is not becoming larger and slow, there won’t be a rise in coming days. - by KIng Titanium
